After months of brainstorming, design, and stress, Painted Soul Tattoos became Black Hatchet Tattoo Co. Eventually, coming to the realization that the name Painted Soul Tattoos was another person’s vision and it was time to re-brand the shop into something of their own. Together, they worked hard to make Painted Soul better than ever. In June 2017, Megan decided it was time to move her career out west and sold the shop to Ricky and his wife Katrina. In June 2022 we welcomed our third resident artist Sophie Cowan and in July 2022 we welcomed our fourth resident artist Miles Normandale to the team.
